Achillea

A genus of flowering plants including yarrow, with feathery leaves and clustered flowers, named from Greek mythology.

From Achilles, the Greek warrior, to whom yarrow was dedicated in mythology—supposedly because it healed his soldiers' wounds. Linnaeus formalized this as the genus name Achillea in botanical nomenclature.
