Acidhead

Slang term for a person who frequently uses LSD (a psychedelic drug), especially someone from the 1960s counterculture.

Compound of 'acid' (slang for LSD) and 'head' (suffix meaning enthusiast or user, as in 'pothead'). Emerged in 1960s drug culture vocabulary during the psychedelic era.
