Acrodermatitis

An inflammation of the skin, particularly at the tips of the fingers and toes or on the extremities.

From Greek 'akron' (tip) + 'derma' (skin) + '-itis' (inflammation). A medical term coined to describe skin conditions localized to distal extremities.
