Actinocrinid

A member of an extinct group of marine animals related to starfish and sea lilies, with branching arms radiating from a central disk.

From actino- (Greek aktis, 'ray') + crinoid (from Greek krinon, 'lily'). Named for their ray-like arms arranged in a crinoid body structure, these fossils were first systematically studied in the 19th century.
