Adduct

To move a body part toward the midline of the body or toward another body part.

From Latin 'adducere' meaning 'to lead toward,' formed from 'ad-' (to) + 'ducere' (to lead). The term was adopted into anatomical terminology in the 16th century to describe the inward movement of limbs.
