Adversus

In typography and printing, a page that faces the reader (the opposite of verso); sometimes used as a Latin legal term.

Pure Latin: 'adversus' (turned toward, facing). In printing, it refers to the right-hand page you see when opening a book (literally 'facing toward you'), opposite to 'verso' (the back or left page).
