Agillawood

A fragrant tropical wood from Asian trees, also called eaglewood or aloeswood, used in perfumes and incense.

From Arabic oud/agarwood combined with English wood; the term reflects both the Arabic origin of the valuable resin and English naming conventions. The wood became precious through Middle Eastern and Asian trade routes.
