Agnoiology

The study or doctrine of ignorance, particularly the philosophical study of what cannot be known or understood.

From Greek 'agnoia' (ignorance, not knowing) + '-logia' (study of). A rare philosophical term combining Greek roots to describe the systematic study of unknowability.
