Album

An album is a collection of items, usually gathered into a single book or set, such as photos, stamps, or recorded songs. In music, it means a group of tracks released together as one project.

From Latin *album* “white tablet,” used for blank boards where public notices were written. The idea of a blank surface for collecting information turned into a book for collected items.
