Analects

Collections of sayings, teachings, or writings; specifically, literary and historical fragments compiled from various sources.

Plural of analect (singular), from the same Greek root as analecta. The term is famously applied to the Analects of Confucius (Lunyu in Chinese), recorded by his disciples.
