Anastrophy

An alternative form of anastrophe; reversal of normal word order for rhetorical or poetic effect.

Variant spelling of anastrophe, from Greek ana- (back) and strophe (turning). All three variants (anastrophe, anastrophia, anastrophy) share the same Greek root.
