Andaste

A powerful confederacy of Native American nations that lived in the northeastern United States and was an enemy of the Iroquois Confederacy.

The etymology is uncertain, though the word comes from indigenous Algonquian languages; the Andaste were also known as the Susquehannock people and their name may derive from their language's root words.
