Antiaristocracy

Opposition to or a system opposed to aristocracy, the rule or dominance of a noble upper class.

From anti- (against) + aristocracy (Greek aristos best + kratia rule). The term developed prominence during the Enlightenment and revolutionary periods when philosophers argued against inherited privilege and class systems.
