Antibiont

A living organism or substance that opposes or fights against other microorganisms, especially pathogenic ones.

From anti- (against) + -biont (from Greek bios, life). This rare scientific term emerged in microbiology to describe organisms that naturally antagonize pathogens through chemical or biological means.
