Antimediaevalism

A philosophical or ideological opposition to medieval culture, institutions, and values; the belief that medieval society was backward or inferior.

From antimediaeval + -ism (suffix indicating ideology or practice). The term describes systematic rejection of medieval worldviews, particularly prominent in Enlightenment thought.
