Antimensium

An alternative Latin form of antimension, the consecrated cloth used in Orthodox church altars.

Latin variant of antimension, using the Latin neuter singular ending -ium. Both forms derive from Greek 'anti' (against) + 'mensa' (table), but antimensium represents the Latinized ecclesiastical term used in older religious texts.
