Apselaphesis

The loss or impairment of the sense of touch; a condition of reduced or absent tactile sensation.

From Greek 'a-' (without) plus 'pselaphesis' (the act of touching, sensation of touch). This variant form uses the Greek '-esis' ending (process or condition) instead of '-ia'.
