Araneologist

A scientist who studies spiders; an arachnologist who specializes in spider biology, behavior, or ecology.

From 'aranea' (spider) plus '-logy' (study of) plus '-ist' (one who practices). While 'arachnologist' is more common in English, 'araneologist' follows the same Latin-based construction for a spider scientist.
