Archchampion

The supreme or principal champion; the greatest warrior or defender of a cause.

From arch- (chief) + champion (from Late Latin campio, possibly related to 'campus' field, or Germanic kampio). The term combined the superlative prefix with champion to denote the ultimate victor. Popular in medieval and Renaissance literature for describing legendary heroes.
