Armado

An archaic or historical term for an armed ship or a military naval vessel, used particularly in reference to Spanish naval forces.

From Spanish 'armado' (armed one), from Latin 'armatus' (armed). The term was used historically to describe fighting ships in the age of sail, particularly during Spanish naval dominance.
