Arteriectasia

Abnormal widening or dilation of an artery, where the blood vessel expands beyond its normal size.

From Greek 'arteria' (artery) combined with 'ektasis' (stretching or dilation), a term developed in medical language to describe the opposite problem of arterial constriction.
