A German luxury automobile manufacturer known for its premium vehicles and advanced engineering technology.

Named after founder August Horch, whose surname means 'listen' in German. When he left his original company, he couldn't use his name, so he chose the Latin translation 'audi' (imperative of 'audire', to hear).
