Autojigger

A mechanical device that automatically performs repetitive jiggling or shaking motions, often used in industrial or laboratory settings.

From 'auto-' (self) + 'jigger' (a device that jiggles, possibly from Scottish dialect 'jig'). A specialized technical term developed for automated machinery in the late 19th/early 20th century.
