Autopsychosis

A psychological condition where someone becomes excessively self-aware or introspective about their own mental processes and thoughts.

From Greek 'autos' (self) and 'psychosis' (mental condition or illness). Emerged in early 20th-century psychology to describe self-focused mental disturbances where patients obsess over analyzing their own minds.
