Babite

An alternative term for a follower of Babism; a believer in the Babi faith.

From 'Bab' (the religious title) plus the '-ite' suffix (from Hebrew '-ite' or Latin '-ita'), commonly used in English for adherents of religions or movements (as in 'Israelite' or 'Shiite').
