Baianism

A philosophical or political movement or belief system associated with the ideas or methods of Baius (a 16th-century theologian).

From Baius (Michael Baius, 16th-century theologian) + -ism (suffix indicating a system of beliefs or practices). The movement emerged from theological disputes in Renaissance Europe.
