Banjulele

A small stringed instrument combining the round body and percussive tone of a banjo with the four-string tuning and size of a ukulele.

Another portmanteau of 'banjo' and 'ukulele,' with 'banjulele' being perhaps the most common spelling for this hybrid instrument that emerged in the early 1900s.
