Bayardly

Relating to or resembling a bayard; foolish, transparent, or gullible in character.

From 'bayard', a blind horse in medieval literature (Renault's 'Bayard'), or from a general term for a foolish horse. The '-ly' suffix converts it to an adjective meaning 'in the manner of a bayard'.
