A wooden statue of Binzuru (also Binzura), a Buddhist arhat, traditionally found in Japanese temples where visitors rub the statue for healing.

From Sanskrit 'Pindola' (a Buddhist arhat), transmitted through Chinese and Japanese Buddhist traditions. The statue became associated with folk healing practices despite not being part of orthodox Buddhist doctrine.
