The cultural, linguistic, or political characteristics, traditions, or identity associated with Biscay, a region in Spain's Basque Country.

From Biscay (a region in northern Spain) + -ism (suffix denoting a system, doctrine, or characteristic state). The term emerged in the 19th-20th centuries as regional and nationalist movements in Spain developed.
