Blastodisk

An alternative spelling of blastodisc; the early embryonic disc in eggs of birds and reptiles.

Variant spelling of blastodisc using 'disk' (American English preference) instead of 'disc' (British English). Both derive from Greek 'blastos' + Latin 'discus'.
