Blenniiformes

A large order of fish that includes blennies and similar small fish with elongated bodies and fins positioned far back on their bodies.

From 'blenniiform' + '-es' (scientific plural). This taxonomic order was established to group diverse fish sharing blenny-like features under one biological classification.
