Blintz

A thin pancake folded or rolled around a sweet or savory filling, common in Jewish cuisine.

From Yiddish blintz (בלינץ), which itself comes from Ukrainian блинці (blyntsi). The word entered English through Jewish communities in Eastern Europe and America, particularly in the early 1900s.
