Blowgun

A long tube through which you blow air to shoot small darts or pellets as a weapon or toy.

Compound of blow (Old English blawan, to force air through the mouth) plus gun (from gunpowder weapon). The term emerged to describe this primitive weapon used by indigenous peoples worldwide.
