Bonnethead

A small hammerhead shark with a shovel-shaped head, found in warm coastal waters of the Americas.

Compound of 'bonnet' (from the shape) plus 'head'; the fish's distinctive flattened, bonnet-like head structure gave it this descriptive English name.
