Booboo

A child's word for a minor injury, bump, or mistake; a small blunder or silly error that causes embarrassment or minor harm.

Reduplication of 'boo' (a sound of distress or disapproval). The doubled form became associated with minor hurts through baby talk and children's language in the 20th century.
