Branchiopulmonata

A former taxonomic group of mollusks that supposedly had both gills and lungs, now considered invalid classification.

From Greek 'branchia' (gill) + Latin 'pulmo' (lung) + '-ata' (plural suffix). 19th-century malacologists created this category for gastropods before understanding lung evolution better.
