Bricking

The process of building or constructing something with bricks, or the act of facing a surface with bricks.

From 'brick' (a rectangular block of clay) plus the suffix '-ing'. The verb 'brick' developed in Middle English from Old Norse 'brikka', and the gerund form emerged as brick construction became a common building practice.
