Bricklining

The process of installing a protective or insulating lining inside a brick kiln or furnace.

From 'brickliner' plus the gerund suffix '-ing', or directly from 'brick' plus 'lining'. This technical terminology emerged with the professionalization of industrial brick manufacturing.
