A somewhat archaic or rare term for the bronchial tubes or respiratory passages in the lungs.

From Latin bronchium, derived from Greek bronchos (windpipe). This term represents an earlier attempt at Latinizing the Greek anatomical term before more standardized naming conventions emerged.
