A huge long-necked dinosaur from the late Jurassic period (around 150 million years ago) that could reach over 70 feet long.
From Greek 'bronte' (thunder) and 'sauros' (lizard), literally meaning 'thunder lizard.' Named in 1879 by paleontologist Othniel Charles Marsh.
