Cabomba

An aquatic plant with delicate, feathery leaves, commonly used in aquariums; also called fanwort.

From Portuguese/Spanish 'cabomba', possibly derived from an indigenous South American language. The plant originates from South and Central America but has become common in aquariums worldwide.
