Caffeic

Relating to or containing caffeic acid, a plant compound found in coffee, tea, and many fruits and vegetables that acts as an antioxidant.

From caffeine with the chemical suffix -ic, referring to an organic acid discovered in coffee. Though named after coffee, caffeic acid is actually found in many plants and is distinct from caffeine itself.
