A genus of fungi that causes canker diseases in trees and woody plants, formerly known as Cylindrocladium.

From Greek 'kalos' (beautiful) and 'nectria' (a type of fungal genus), named for the organism's microscopic structure. The genus was reclassified and renamed in 2014.
