Caponize

To surgically remove the testicles of a rooster so it grows larger and develops better meat for cooking (American spelling).

From capon (a castrated rooster, from Latin capō) + -ize (American suffix meaning 'to make or cause'). The -ize suffix comes from Greek -izein.
