Cardiagraph

An instrument that records or measures the activity and movements of the heart; a device for creating a cardiagram.

From Greek 'kardia' (heart) + '-graph' (an instrument that writes or records, from 'graphein' to write). The '-graph' suffix creates nouns for machines that produce records or images.
