Caulocarpous

An alternative botanical term meaning the same as caulocarpic; producing fruit directly on the main stem.

From Greek 'kaulos' (stem) + 'karpos' (fruit) + '-ous' (adjective suffix). A variant form of 'caulocarpic' using the Latin-influenced '-ous' ending instead of '-ic'.
