Centauromachy

A battle or war involving centaurs, particularly the conflict between centaurs and Lapiths in Greek mythology.

Greek 'kentauromachia' from 'kentaur' (centaur) + 'mache' (battle). This is essentially a variant spelling of centauromachia, both referring to the same mythological battle theme that was central to Greek artistic tradition.
