Chinchasuyu

The northwestern region of the Incan empire, known for its coastal and highland territories extending into what is now Peru and Ecuador.

From Quechua 'chincha' (possibly meaning 'bold' or 'fierce') and 'suyu' (meaning 'region' or 'division'). This was one of four major divisions of the Incan empire (Tawantinsuyu).
