Cholecystoileostomy

A surgical procedure creating a direct opening between the gallbladder and the ileum (the final part of the small intestine).

From Greek 'chole' (bile) + 'kystis' (bladder) + Latin 'ileum' (intestine) + 'stoma' (opening). Describes a common surgical bypass when the bile duct is obstructed.
